Rumonge, July 15, 2016, the First Lady of Burundi, Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza carried out several activities in her second stay working in Rumonge province:
At
10:00 am, the First Lady of Burundi paid a visit to Rumonge Hospital to
congratulate and support the family of John Peter Nibarugerure and Violet
Niyonkuruwho who had given birth to triplets on the day of her arrival in the
province. The aid granted was composed by clothes for babies and mom, diapers,
50 kilos of rice and 25 kilos of beans, milk for babies and flour for mom, a
kit for the toilet, kitchen utensils, etc.
The
same assistance was granted at the government town of Rumonge province by the Spouse of
the Head of State to the family of Nyandwi Asmani and Adeline Hakizimana who gave
birth to triplets. The First Lady also distributed aid consisting of food,
clothes and footwears to senior citizens.
In
the framework of Buntu foundation which is founded by the First Lady herself, she
has also provided assistance of five wheelchairs to Rumonge Hospital.
"This assistance is an important kit for emergency services and surgery",
said Director of Rumonge hospital.
After
all these acts of charity, The First Lady of Burundi participated in the
thanksgiving held in the hall of the Pentecostal church of Rumonge. In her
sermons, the First Lady has developed the theme of integrity: "The
integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of
transgressors shall destroy them. Burundi needs just men who are never
corruptible. "

Nkurunziza closed her activities with a visit to the Izere radio of Rumonge
which began broadcasting on 97.1 the day before the arrival of the First Lady
in Rumonge province. This radio is a work of Mr.Bikorimana Benjamin, Managing
Director of Bioenergy and President of the Team Vital 'O FC.
