THE CHARITY WORKS MADE BY THE FIRST LADY OF BURUNDI IN MUYINGA PROVINCE




Muyinga, August 5th 2016,The First Lady of Burundi, Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza carried out several activities in her second stay working in Muyinga province:
At 9:30 am, the First Lady of Burundi paid a visit to “Centre Saint Elisabeth Muyinga” which shelters fifteen senior women among them one is about 160 years. The target of this visit was to support this centre with 250 kilos of rice, 100kg of beans and four boxes of soaps. H.E the First Lady of Burundi congratulated the founder of that centre because he did a charitable work. She added that to support senior citizens is her area work into Buntu Foundation, in which she is founding Chairlady.
After that, H.E Denise Nkurunziza went to “Lycée Communal Muyinga” where she granted the assistance to the family of Salvator Miburo and Dalia Ndayishimiye who gave birth to triplets. The aid granted was composed by clothes for babies and mom, diapers, milk for babies and flour for mom, a kit for the toilet, kitchen utensils, etc. The First Lady also distributed aid consisting of food, clothing to 100 senior citizens at the same place.
After all these acts of charity, The First Lady of Burundi participated in the prayer held in the hall of “Lycée communal Muyinga”. In her sermons, the First Lady preached about integrity: “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Burundi needs just men who are never corruptible. ”
By way of thanks, the women leaders of Muyinga granted to the First Lady of Burundi one heifer named Gateka.

THE FIRST FRUITS AT BUNTU PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CENTER OF BUYE



 
This week is the first light into Buntu Foundation for the first promotion of thirty three prizewinners of Buntu Professional Training Center of Buye now is doing the national exam which would be the open door to reach the university. Those who are doing the Exam are from hospitality management and tourism which is the new training in Burundi.
The official opening of Buntu Professional training center of Buye occurred in 2012 by Her Excellency Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza, the First Lady of Burundi and founding chairlady of Buntu Foundation with fifty- six members.
Buntu professional training center was created to respond to some of the objectives of Buntu Foundation.  The main target of this center is to equip the orphans with adequate life skills.
