On Thursday, September 17, 2016, H. E DeniseNkurunziza, First Lady of
Burundi received in audience first, the Ambassador of People’s Republic of
China, ZHUO Ruisheng, and secondly, the one who’s representing Burundi in
Turkey, Ambassador Joel Ndurabagaya, at the Presidential Palace in Bujumbura.
On the agenda of the first meeting, the two personalities exchanged on the feedback
of the meeting held in February 17, 2016.It was also a time to celebrate the
achievements of the First Lady of Burundi through OPDAS (Organization of
African First Ladies against AIDS) since 2003. The Ambassador Ruisheng promised
to support some projects of Buntu Foundation.
The meeting with Ambassador Joel was focused on the situation of Burundian
students sent by Buntu Foundation in Turkey.
