November 2016, Buntu Foundation led by Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza granted
for the fourth time the diplomas and certificates to 87 prizewinners at Buntu
Professional Training Center of Buye, which is now named "École Technique
Secondaire Buntu (ETSB)". This Center is located at Mwumba commune, in
Ngozi Province.
Among
the prizewinners there were 50 boys and 37 girls. That to say 67 in Hospitality
Management and Tourism: those who studied for 2 years got a Diploma for
Professional Aptitude. With the curricular of 4 years, they received a Special
Professional Diploma. Furthermore, 17 in Tailoring and 3 in carpentry got
certificates.
The
First Lady of Burundi congratulated those who did well in state exam because
32/33 had succeeded. Her Excellency
Denise Nkurunziza recommended them to be the light in the society by creating
income generating activities. She also recommended the parents to send their
children to Buntu Professional Training Center because it is well equipped.
