AN EMPATHETIC WOMAN: THE FIRST LADY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURUNDI





The First Lady Denise NKURUNZIZA visited on March 5, 2016, a center of people with disabilities in Makamba province.  Pastor Denise Nkurunziza, the founder of Buntu Foundation granted to them an assistance composed of rice, knitwear and Cotex to vulnerable women and girls. In addition, the First Lady offered a ton and a half of rice to the center of handicapped and orphans. All these orphans and disabled thanked the First Lady for her empathetic nature. remember that the main objectives of Buntu foundation are:
 1. Provide assistance to vulnerable people aimed at restoring their social and mental well being;
2. Implement programs to integrate disadvantaged people in their respective communities;
3. Contribute in physical reconstruction of the country and rehabilitation of social relationship among Burundian;
4. Advocate for the promotion of human rights, the re-establishment of environment contributing in rebuilding a strong Burundian Society.
