Graduation and Certificates at ETS Buntu de Buye

At  Ecole Technique Scientifique Buntu de Buye(ETS buntu de Buye)”, in Mwumba commune, Ngozi province, the Legal Representative of the Buntu Foundation, Her Excellency Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza proceeded to the graduation ceremony and certificates to about fifty laureates of the school, the Saturday, September 15, 2018. Dr. Janvière Ndirahisha, the Minister of Education, Technical and Vocational Training, the deputies and senators elected in the district of Ngozi, the partners of the Buntu Foundation have enhanced their presence ceremonies.
For Minister Janvière Ndirahisha, Education is the pillar of development in the world. That's why we have to put a lot of effort into it. She also congratulated the laureates for their graduation and awarded a gift of sewing machines to the.
School to accompany those who did the professional training.
In her speech, the First Lady of Burundi and President of the Buntu Foundation warmly thanked the Ministry of Education for its moral and material support in the supervision of the youth of Burundi in general, and the ETS Buntu of Buye in particular. She also appreciated student’s behaviour during the 2017-2018 school year and encouraged them to preach good examples in the community. Joining together in association, having respect and integrity were the advice recommendations of Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza.
The ceremonies were closed with awards for the best girls and the teacher who volunteered for three years.

THE BUNTU FOUNDATION CREATED A BUNTU TV RADIO

Since this Saturday, January 03, 2018, a Buntu Radio TV "The Voice of Orphans and Widows began broadcasting on 96.3 FM at Buye, Mwumba Commune, Ngozi Province. This radio, inaugurated by President Nkurunziza, is editorial in support of the initiatives of the poor. It was created by the Buntu Foundation, a philanthropic organization led by the First Lady of Burundi.

In her welcoming speech, Mrs. Denise Nkurunziza, The First Lady of Burundi said that the radio currently covers the entire north, center and part of eastern Burundi. But there is a plan to put relay transmitters to cover all the territory and neighbouring countries of Burundi. She also indicated that the radio will also be online for the world to watch its broadcasts. The purpose of this radio station is to give hope to the most deprived people, including orphans, widows, etc. There will also be social and economic development programs. It was also an opportunity to thank organizations such as UNFPA for supporting that project and others who gave their contributions.

In his speech, the President of the Republic congratulated the Buntu Foundation for achieving its vision. The Head of State also encouraged the Radio TV Buntu which has a perspective to support the initiatives of the disinherited people. For him, he described that radio as a great contribution to the development of the country and showed his unwavering support for such initiatives.

Note that the Buntu TV Radio starts with a radio but the television will be installed later.

THE FIRST LADY DENISE NKURUNZIZA PRESENTED HER BEST WISHES TO THE PATIENTS OF BUYE HOSPITAL

At the beginning of each year, the Buntu Foundation shares with the vulnerable people the joy of a New Year. That's why the First Lady Denise Nkurunziza and President of the Buntu Foundation paid a visit to the patients of Buye Hospital on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, to present them the best wishes of the year 2018. Sixty-eight (68) patients and their nurses shared the lunch from Buntu Foundation.

By visiting all the services at Buye Hospital, the First Lady gave food and lemonade to each patient and his nurse.

Her Excellency Denise Nkurunziza indicated that the purpose of that visit was to share the joy with the sick during these days of Christmas and the New Year. “These people have not had the opportunity to celebrate with joy these holidays because they were sick, and then, they are not in their families to share with theirs the joy. They need people who join them to restore their hope for the New Year”.

She also asked other Burundians who have the means to each time remember that by celebrating the holidays of the end of the year and other holidays, it is important to reserve a part to the sharing of joy with the vulnerable.
After Buye Hospital, the Spouse of the Head of State went to the “Umunyasamariya w'imbabazi” orphanage to share the joy with the children of the latter. The said orphanage started its charitable works on April 16, 2017 and currently has 27 children.

Located on Buye Hill, the orphanage “Umunyasamariya w'imbabazi” was built and is held by the account of the First Lady of Burundi.

BUNTU FOUNDATION GRANTED A SOLIDARITY HELP TO THE CENTER OF SAINT KIZITO OF BUJUMBURA TOWN

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, the Buntu Foundation, under the Represented by Her Excellency Reverend Denise Nkurunziza, the First Lady of Burundi granted a donation of wheelchairs, milk and rice to the children with disabilities of the Center Saint Kizito which is in City Hall of Bujumbura, in Mukaza commune. According to the Representative of the Buntu Foundation, this gift is a sign of solidarity and love that the organization always shows to deprived people.

Anne Marie MUSHIRANZIGO, the Director of the Saint KIZITO Center, greatly appreciated the unwavering support of Mrs. Denise NKURUNZIZA because it is not the first time to visit that center. She said that that help brought a strong hand by the fact that it will reduce the charges that are exorbitant.

Her Excellency Denise NKURUNZIZA, Representative of BUNTU Foundation, appreciated the work done by the agents of the Saint KIZITO Center to improve the lives of children with disabilities; she said that the 9 wheelchairs represent a sample that will be presented to the partners to ask for a large quantity that can help the largest number of children with disabilities. Another aid given by the Buntu Foundation consisted of 39 cartons of milk and 1300kg of rice.

Before handing over this gift, in the said center, the Spouse of the Head of State of Burundi took for treatment NIYONYISHU Chancelline, an orphan adopted since April 2017.

THE BUNTU FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF BURUNDI

It was a palpable joy in the family of Minani Onesime and Nihoza Fabiola from the Province of Makamba, after receiving humanitarian aid from the Buntu Foundation, a philanthropic organization created and represented by Her Excellency Rev. Denise Nkurunziza, the First Lady of Burundi. That family supported on August 29, 2017 had given birth to triplets in the hospital of Makamba and the babies are now in the maternity hall of the “Roi Khaled” hospital of Kamenge in City council of Bujumbura.

That humanitarian aid was consisted of 150kg of rice, 50kg of beans, clothes for babies and for mothers, milk for children, 4 pots, 3 cans, 2 basins, cushions and a toilet kit. That family strongly thanked the Buntu Foundation and its Representative for that goodwill to support the neediest and wished blessings to the organization.

THE FIRST LADY OF BURUNDI WISHED HAPPY EASTER TO THE PATIENTS AT THE BUYE HOSPITAL

At the Buye hospital in Ngozi province, the patients celebrated the Easter with the help of Her Excellency Rev. Denise Nkurunziza, the First Lady of Burundi, through her Foundation called «Buntu Foundation". Nearly 110 patients enjoyed lunch accompanied drinks like Fanta and milk in the first day after Easter. That act of charity was part of the mission of Buntu Foundation to restore the hope to the poor and the vulnerable.

In that hospital which dates from 1936, the Spouse of the Head of State visited all the services including Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Maternity, Malnutrition and Surgery. The First Lady of the Country indicated that she wanted to share the joy of Easter with those people who are in difficulty to show them moral and material support. "I share with them what I took on the day of the Easter," added Her Excellency Rev. Denise Nkurunziza.

Doctor Ngendakumana Jean Claude, The director of the Buye Hospital eagerly thanked the First Lady for her philanthropic character.

This kind of visit was also performed in several hospitals to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
